I think the Cubs are the best team, however with their history I wouldn't put it past them to perform another late year melt down with the Brewers taking the central.

As a long suffering Cubs Fan what do they have to do to get the calls the Redsox get.I watch a lot of baseball and I have never ever seen a home plate as wide as the on the RedSox pitchers get or one as small as their hitters benefit from,its just ridicules and so blatant.Dennis Eckersly Subbing for Jerry Remy actually laughs out loud about it.When they were playing THe Yankees 2 weeks ago Beckett goes up to the homeplate umpire after the 1st inng and talks to him and then suddenly the plate becomes 30" wide.If MLB and the Umpires along with ESPN want them to win that badly why not before the season starts tell the rest of the AL East the Sox have been given the division the rest of you are fighting it out for the wildcard.Tony Larusa doesen't get those kind of calls,and no one ever says anything.I played college baseball and have coached it most of my life and it is so apparent that their is one set of rules for MLB teams and another for Boston.

First of all, it is Ryan Ludwick, not Eric. Secondly, there is no way the Cubs will pull it out. Look at the Cardinals numbers right now compared to the Cubs. The Cubs are a joke and not much else they are not as deep as they need to be and letting Derosa go was a huge blunder.Dempster is what he is a soso pitcher who had a good year.
